This policy explains what information FancyFontz ("we", "us") collects when you use fancyfontz.com, and how it is used. The short version: the text you type never leaves your device, and we do not ask you for any personal information.

Text you type

The font generator runs entirely in your browser. What you type is converted to Unicode characters on your own device and is not sent to us or anyone else. When you copy a style, it goes to your device's clipboard only.

Local storage

We use your browser's local storage and session storage (not cookies) to remember a few conveniences:

• your light or dark theme choice;
• the styles you mark as favorites;
• the text you last typed, for the current browser tab only, so it carries over between pages.

This data stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and can be deleted at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Cookies and advertising

We may show advertising provided by third parties such as Google AdSense. These vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

• You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
• You can opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
• Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland will be asked for consent through a certified consent management platform before personalised ads are shown.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The font generator works fully without cookies.

Server logs and hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses and browser type to deliver pages and protect against abuse. We do not currently run analytics. If we add analytics in future, we will update this page first.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data about you. Because we do not store personal data ourselves, most requests will concern our advertising partners, whose policies are linked above. For anything else, contacthello@fancyfontz.com.

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date at the top.
